For the purpose of ensuring the the smooth progress of the national customs clearance integration, strengthening the administration of the import and export cargo entering and leaving China, improving the integrity and accuracy of the manifest data, and implementing the safety entry and risk prevention, China Customs Authorities has released Order No.56 (2017) which will adjust China Customs Manifest for both import and export and the new order will be effective on 1st June 2018.
COSCO Shipping Container lines hereby to announce the complying with and implement the regulation and follow the below key requirements by the Customs Order No.56 (2017):
1. Enforce a 24hours China Customs Advance Manifest (CCAM) rule and the Advanced Manifest must be submitted 24 hours prior to loading.
2. The information required on the China import Manifest has been updated and must contain the key information and the format as follows:
The Place of loading (code), Consignor (code), country (code), Communication number, Communication number type and the consignee name.
3. The format of Consignor, Consignee, and Notify party (when consignee is “TO ORDER”) shall include “Code Type+ Enterprise Code”.
4. The cargo description on the manifest must be complete, accurate and cover all the goods.
